Morning market update 10 09 2021:
Last night saw the DXY pull back with a relatively neutral session in equities and the ECB not offering much from their press conference. The GBPJPY buy trade taken yesterday does feature in this update as it does remain open with a focus on a push back to 152.00 in the lead up to today’s GDP released at 14:00 GMT+8. Later today the US has Core PPI (MoM) (Aug) and PPI (MoM) (Aug) at 20:30 GMT+8, also at the same time the CAD has Employment data coming out. Stay tuned for an outlook on the USDCAD in today’s currency call as this pair has recently bounced off the 1.2614 support level.
