On USD/JPY – it seen a drop to 107.05 on Monday – which means the quote is remaining below 50-day SMA (around 107.48 at the moment) – but also above monthly low around 106.60.
Some key highlights from the recently released BoJ’s meeting minutes, which I found particularly interesting:
1. Some members opined that Japan’s economy was showing signs of bottoming out recently.
2. Many members also recognized the impact of a second wave on Covid19 will have on economic activity.
