The foreign exchange market (FOREX) is the market where currencies are traded, and the daily turnover of this market is more than 5 Trillion USD. This is the biggest and most liquid financial market.
Currency pairs fall into three groups - majors, crosses, and exotics. Majors have high liquidity and represent developed economies such as USD or EUR. Majors have high liquidity and low spread, which gives them predictability, while others have smaller market caps and higher volatility.
