“ U.S. will take ownership of Gaza!”: Trump and Netanyahu on the future of Middle East * President Trump and PM Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel held a joint Press Conference at the White House. Trump has been making off the cuff remarks about Gaza since quite a few days but they seem to have found some meaning after Netanyahu’s visit to the Oval Office yesterday.  * Trump proposed that U.S. should take over the entire Gaza and permanently displace all the Palestinians to countries like Egypt and Jordan. He sparked widespread criticism by claiming he’d rebuild Gaza for jobs and tourism.  * Netanyahu, in his words of appraisal, stated Trump is Israel’s greatest friend in the White House.  * When asked if U.S. military would be involved in takeover of Gaza, Trump answered “We’ll do what’s necessary.” * Forcibly relocating populations could wreak havoc on the Middle East, citing that ethnic cleansing of Palestinians has long been desired by Israel.
