After a prolonged accumulation phase, Gold has finally attracted stronger flows as the USD weakened, allowing price to accelerate higher and break out of the previous short-term structure. However, the broader Daily structure remains the key obstacle. Gold is now approaching a major Demand + Fibonacci 0.5 + descending trendline resistance, where sellers have previously defended the market. This makes the current area a critical decision zone rather than a place to chase the rally.
MACRO NARRATIVE
The recent weakness in the USD has supported Gold's upside expansion, while expectations around US monetary policy continue to influence safe-haven flows. However, the macro environment remains mixed, meaning the current rally still needs stronger confirmation from institutional flows before it can be considered a sustainable higher-timeframe trend.
TECHNICAL STRUCTURE
On the Daily chart, Gold remains inside a broader descending structure. The recent rally has brought price directly into a major resistance cluster:
4,400–4,430: Demand + Fibonacci 0.5 + Daily descending trendline — KEY DECISION ZONE
4,500–4,550: Higher resistance / Demand + Fibonacci 0.618
4,680–4,720: Major Daily resistance + Fibonacci 0.786
4,100–4,150: Key support + lower trendline
3,950–4,000: Major structural support / Weak Low
BEARISH SCENARIO — PREFERRED BIAS
If Gold fails to hold the current breakout area and sellers regain control around 4,400–4,430, the move could develop into a deeper technical correction.
A confirmed rejection would favor a move back toward the 4,100–4,150 trendline support. This remains Lucas's preferred scenario while Gold is still trading below the major Daily descending trendline.
BULLISH SCENARIO
Gold needs to produce a strong Daily close above 4,400–4,430, followed by acceptance above the descending trendline.
Only then can the current rally be considered more than a technical recovery, with potential continuation toward 4,500–4,550 and eventually the higher 4,680–4,720 resistance zone.

WEEKLY BIAS: BEARISH — WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION
Gold is showing strong short-term momentum, but higher-timeframe structure has not changed yet.
The 4,400–4,430 zone is the line between correction and a potential new trend. If Gold cannot secure a Daily breakout above this area, Lucas continues to favor the possibility of another move lower toward the lower trendline.
Do not chase the breakout. Let the Daily candle confirm the direction.
Trade with structure. Trade with confirmation. Not with FOMO.
