From 30 minutes before to 5 minutes after the data release,
leverage on new positions will be reduced to a maximum of 1:200, and the required margin will increase significantly.
👉 Example:
For 1 lot of gold, the margin is normally about $700,
but during this special period it will be about $1,750.
Normal conditions resume 5 minutes after the release. Please reserve sufficient funds and manage your positions carefully, so that the temporary margin adjustment does not affect your trading. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime 🙋♀
