1. API License
  • Grant: Followme Technology Sdn. Bhd. (“FM”) grants you (“Developer”) a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the APIs solely to develop applications that interoperate with the Followme platform.
  • Restrictions: You may not sublicense or resell API access, reverse-engineer or interfere with security, or use APIs to replicate core features that compete with Followme.
2. Authentication & Rate Limits
  • API Keys: Developers must store API keys securely, avoid embedding them in client-side code, and rotate them at least every 90 days.
  • Limits: Default quota is 60 requests per minute and 100,000 requests per day. FM may throttle or suspend excessive usage.
3. Data Usage
  • Personal Data: Developers must obtain explicit user consent before accessing or processing personal data and comply with applicable privacy laws.
  • Market Data: Usage, display, and redistribution are governed by the Market Data Policy. Caching raw market data longer than 30 seconds is prohibited.
4. Branding
  • Developers must display “Powered by Followme” alongside API-derived content. Followme trademarks may not be altered.
5. Security
  • Developers must implement industry-standard security practices (TLS 1.2+, OWASP Top-10 protections) and notify [email protected] of any breach within 24 hours.
6. Audit
  • FM may audit applications with 10 business-days’ notice. Developers must provide logs demonstrating compliance.
7. Termination
  • FM may terminate API access at any time for breach or risk. Upon termination, all cached data must be deleted and use of trademarks must cease.
8. Liability & Indemnity
  • APIs are provided “as-is” without warranties. Developers indemnify FM against claims arising from misuse.
9. Updates
  • FM may modify these Terms or APIs with 30 days’ notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
